A west coast woman who now teaches in Labrador has been overwhelmed by the response received following an appeal for book donations for new books for her small school. Krista Conway is originally from Corner Brook, but now teaches at St. Peter's School in Black Tickle. A Labrador physical education teacher has received high praise for his efforts to motivate and inspire his students. Shane Morgan teaches and coaches at Lake Melville School in North West River and recently received the title of Physical Educator of the Year at the 2017 Physical and Health Education Canada Conference held earlier this month in St. John's.
